Robert Tirevold

Lead Instructor - Tactical Leadership / Instructor Development

Recently retiring from the United States Air Force, Robert brings to Progressive F.O.R.C.E. Concepts over three decades of security, training and leadership experience. Most recently, Robert oversaw and led the development, training and deployment of the US Air Force's Force Protection doctrine, policy, tactics, techniques and procedures. Robert focused these force protection policies by allocating personnel and assets in support of nuclear and non-nuclear security, physical and information security, base defense, combat arms, law enforcement and police services, anti-terrorism and management of the USAF corrections program.

Serving as the senior technical and operational advisor to the USAF Chief of Staff for the first Force Protection Battlelab at Lackland AFB, Robert led teams responsible for the innovation of new force protection concepts and technologies. This Battlelab was consulted by Department of State and Dept of Justice, among other federal agencies, to instruct and advise on new concepts of explosive detection, blast mitigation, electronic security systems and pathogen detection.

Robert's executive experience, education and professional associations allow him to develop leadership and training programs that touch all spectrums of law enforcement, security operations and critical incident management. Managing and leading tens of thousands of personnel deployed globally, tens of millions of budget dollars and protecting national security assets, Robert is an expert in meeting organizational goals in increasingly complex and dynamic environments.
