PFC TRAINING STUDENT POLICIES

Progressive F.O.R.C.E. Concepts, LLC delivers professional training services to customers who are qualified and suitable for attendance. To that end, enrollment in a PFC Training course is restricted to those who meet the eligibility requirements described for a given event. PFC will take responsible and reasonable steps to ensure that registered attendees have been properly vetted prior to the commencement of training. Accordingly, prospective students must be prepared to provide all evidence of eligibility requested and fully disclose their occupation, purpose for training, and any potential conflicts created by their participation in a PFC Training event.

ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY

GENERAL

The following persons are prohibited from participating in PFC Training events:

  • Individuals with a criminal history preventing them from owning or possessing a firearm.
  • Individuals who are believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Individuals who are believed to be on prescription or non-prescription medication to a level of physical and/or mental impairment that is unacceptable or unknown.
  • Individuals who are believed to be affiliated with or sympathize with a criminal or terrorist organization, foreign or domestic.
  • Individuals employed by or affiliated with a commercial training organization that has not been disclosed to, vetted by, or pre-approved by PFC Training management.
  • Individuals deemed unable to safely perform the required tasks, skills, drills, and/or physical evolutions presented during instruction by the training staff.
  • Individuals using a Blackhawk Serpa model holster or other similar holster with a trigger finger actuated retention mechanism during live fire range training.

 

PFC Training reserves the right to deny or refuse services to any person, at any time, for any reason.

Prior attendance in a PFC Training event may or may not be grounds for future approval to register in a given course of instruction.

CIVILIANS & SECURITY PERSONNEL

Qualified Civilians are U.S. Citizens who possess a demonstrable need to attend any of the PFC Courses for which they are eligible. These persons must provide a minimum of two (2) of the following upon request:

A) A government-issued, picture bearing identification card in the form of a current state issued Driver’s License or Identification Card

B) A current government agency or government contractor employee picture identification card (if applicable)

C) A valid U.S. Passport (with valid date and Visa stamp, if applicable)

D) A current resident or non-resident Concealed Carry Weapons permit (any state)

E) A state required permit to own and possess a firearm (any state)

F) A current NV State Unarmed or Armed Security Guard Card (if applicable)

G) A “certified” birth certificate

H) A Social Security Number card

Qualified Civilians who do not possess a government issued Identification Card for which a background check is required must also provide a copy of a current background check. Background checks can be performed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Records Bureau. The fee for this is $9.00. For information on how to obtain a background check, visit www.lvmpd.com. Click on the “Tickets and Records” Tab, then click on Background Checks. Follow all instructions. Application forms are available on-line and can be hand-carried or mailed in. Office location/s and office hours are posted online; this service is available 7 days a week. Other background check results may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

LAW ENFORCEMENT

Law Enforcement and Corrections personnel must be active, reserve, or possess department-issued picture I.D. stating “retired.” Retired LEOs must have a demonstrable need for the training for which they have applied and provide other proof positive that they are free of any criminal history that would adversely affect their eligibility to attend the class for which they have registered. A copy of agency-issued credentials must be provided up request and may be verified by PFC staff. Additional criteria found above under “Qualified Civilians” may apply per PFC request.

U.S. MILITARY PERSONNEL

Must have DoD issued picture I.D. (Active/Active Reserve/National Guard). DoD issued I.D. must be current; and must be supported by a second form of government issued picture identification. Additional criteria found above under “Qualified Civilians” may apply per PFC request.

U.S. GOVERNMENT AGENCY & FEDERAL CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL

Agency and Agency Contractor issued I.D. cards are acceptable forms of eligibility documents as long as they represent the requirement that a criminal history background check or government security clearance was conducted on the bearer. Additional criteria found above under “Qualified Civilians” may apply per PFC request.

COURSE REGISTRATION

Prospective students may register for training by:

* For certain events with special enrollment requirements, official registration is not complete until evidence of eligibility is received and verified, and/or full approval has been granted by PFC management. Customers enrolling online will receive confirmation via email once officially registered.

A minimum payment of 50% to 100% of the total course tuition is required upon registration.

Unless pre-approved by PFC management, course tuition must be paid in full prior to commencement of training.

A student registration deadline may apply on a course-by-course basis.

Standard invoicing terms are acceptable for approved client groups participating in custom or closed training programs. Contact PFC Headquarters for terms and conditions.

REFUNDS & COURSE CREDIT

Due to schedule conflicts, customer or contract requirements, insufficient enrollment, conflicts with PFC policy, or other reasons beyond PFC’s control, PFC reserves the right to cancel scheduled training events or unenroll students on a case-by-case basis.

If reasons for cancellation or unenrollment are directed by PFC, registered students will receive a 100% refund of any tuition paid.

PFC understands that from time to time, registered students must forego training and cancel their enrollment. For these instances, the following cancellation policy applies:

Notification 30 days or greater prior to training = 100% refund or future course credit

Notification less than 30 days prior to training = 75% refund or future course credit

Notification less than 15 days prior to training = 50% refund or future course credit

Notification 3 days or less prior to training = No refund or future course credit

Future course credit is valid for one (1) year on same or similar training events.
