PFC Supports Joe P. DeBergalis

for NRA Board of Directors

PFC supports Joseph P. DeBergalis, Jr. in his election to remain on the NRA Board of Directors.

In his own words, this is what Joe DeBergalis brings to the NRA Board of Directors:

“Quality representation to the over five million members of the National Rifle Association through my service as a NRA Board Member to protect and defend the United States Constitution and all its Amendments.

To continue to serve our Membership to the best of my ability as Chairman of the NRA’s Education and Training Committee, Vice Chairman of Action Shooting Committee and Member of the Executive, Sport Shooting, Law Enforcement, Finance and Legislative Affairs Committees.
Thank you all for the opportunity to serve you and serve the NRA in our interest in defense of our Second Amendment, our right to self-defense and our right to enjoy the shooting sports in all its forms.”

If your are a Life or five year (or more) consecutive NRA Annual member, the ballot to vote appeared in your NRA magazine of choice (American Rifleman, American Hunter or America’s 1st Freedom). If you elect to receive the magazine electronically, the ballot should have been sent to you via USPS. Voting continues through March 22, 2015.

PFC Loadout Low-Light Promotion!

Purchase an Elzetta Flashlight from this month and receive 50% off any 2015 Progressive Handgun 4 (PH4) or Progressive Carbine 4 (PC4) ‘Low-Light Engagements’ course!

The Elzetta A111 projects 315 Lumens of blinding white light from its Alpha LED Module. It has an ultra compact 1-Cell body, low profile bezel and the traditional rotary tail cap preferred by many special teams officers. The A111 is great for personal every day carry or for mounting on a weapon. If your looking for a flashlight that is virtually indestructible and ultra compact, the A111 is for you.

The 8 degree standard lens provides excellent light projection to illuminate distant objects. Its “soft edge” beam minimizes tunnel-vision effects . The low-profile light head makes the Elzetta A111 a perfect light weight choice for rifle-mounted applications. Run time is approximately 51 minutes.

The overall length of this light is 3.8 inches, the weight is a mere 3.4 ounces. The flashlight body is made of aircraft grade aluminum. This light is tougher than nails- a wise investment for anyone in need of a professional grade flashlight. Made in the U.S.A.

PFC CrossFit

The CrossFit Games Open begins with its first WOD announcement on Thursday, February 26th. The Open runs for 5 weeks and provides an opportunity for athletes all over the world to compete in their region vying for 20 open spots to get to Regionals. From there, the top 3 athletes from each Regional competition will then go on to compete in the 2015 CrossFit Games. Despite the slim-to-none chance that the average CrossFit box member will make it to the Games, 140,000 people participated in the Open last year. So why do it? Well, short answer…it’s fun. It’s a way to challenge yourself. It’s also another way to get closer with your box mates. Reminiscing about how bad the Open WOD number whatever point whatever sucked is fun, too, and even if it sounds lame as you read this, you will likely end up engaging in lively recollections. Ergo, the family that embraces the suck together, stays together.

The 2015 Open has added a Scaled division. This is awesome. PFC CrossFit has run the Open WODs every year in the past for the entire box to do regardless of participation in the Open. The Scaled division offers every athlete the chance to get in on the excitement of the competition. This is an opportunity to challenge yourself and put your hard work to the test and share it with the world…you may surprise yourself.

For those of you who have done the Open before, it is an opportunity to see your progress from last year. We know there will be no curve balls – if only, right – there are a set of movements we know we will see, it’s just a matter of how many, in what combination, and for how long.

If you are up for the challenge, be sure to register at under PFC CrossFit as your affiliate.

 Good luck!
